Amanda was born in Allentown, Pennsylvania in 1985. She wanted to be an actress after watching the 1996 version of Romeo & Juliet when she was 10 and started modeling at age 11. Seyfried appeared in high school productions, trained in classical opera for 2 years and studied under a Broadway voice coach for almost 5 years, all of which helped her prepare for a career in the arts. When she was 15, she landed a recurring role on the soap opera As the World Turns, followed by All My Children. While attending Fordham University, she was offered a role in Mean Girls and decided to put her education on hold. Her portrayal of Karen, the lovable airhead, turned out to be her breakout role. Seyfried appeared in the film Nine Lives before returning to television on Veronica Mars and guest appearances on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, House and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation before landing her first regular dramatic role on the HBO series Big Love. Though her work in tv brought her popularity in America, it was her starring roles in Mamma Mia and Red Riding Hood that brought her international fame. Her film career also includes the films Dear John, Letters to Juliet and In Time, with Justin Timberlake and the upcoming thriller Gone.

Denzel was born in 1954 in the Manhattan suburb of Mt. Vernon, NY, and while growing up he became involved with the Boys & Girls Club which he credits with keeping him off the streets. He attended Fordham University to study journalism and then returned to take acting classes. In 1977, Washington graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a scholarship for the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. He met his future wife, Pauletta Pearson while on the set of his first screen work, the TV biopic, Wilma but his big break came on the NBC drama St. Elsewhere playing Dr. Philip Chandler from 1982-1988. During those years, he appeared in A Soldier’s Story and Cry Freedom, which earned him his first Academy Award nomination. In 1989, Washington won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role in Glory and was nominated again for his portrayal in Malcolm X. He also appeared in The Pelican Brief and Philadelphia, and won his second Oscar in 2001 for Training Day. Denzel made his directorial debut with Antwone Fisher in which he also costarred. He remains involved with the Boys & Girls Club as their national spokesperson and board member. He is currently starring in the thriller Safe House.
